Spitting Carragher on the ropes

Gary Neville has tweeted a message of support for Jamie Carragher.

The act was filmed by a man who taunted the former Liverpool and England defender following Manchester United's 2-1 victory against Liverpool on Saturday. It ends with the girl saying to her father that Carragher's spit had hit her in the face.

He was summoned to the Sky Sports headquarters today, ahead of his much-anticipated appearance on Monday Night Football, which has now been suspended. I was goaded 3/4 times along the motorway while being filmed and lost my rag. "It's been something we all could have done without but all I can do now is apologise".

Speaking on Sky News after his suspension was announced, Carragher, who has called to apologise to the family, said: "You can't condone that behaviour in any way shape or form".

"They're disappointed I've dragged their name through the mud". No excuses he's made a big mistake.

'I've been on TV for 3 years with him and [in my opinion] this isolated incident shouldn't stop us working together'.

Tom Brady chug a beer like a champ on 'The Late Show'
In the past, quarterback #Tom Brady signed a contract extension when he has two years remaining on his contract. And that's - you know, I thought about that play 500 times in five days. "But football's the blink on an eye".

Trump's meeting on video game violence could prove contentious
She said she sought to convey the challenges of keeping violent games away from kids "even for the most diligent parent". Henson stated that the meeting was more of a listening session and that no conclusion was arrived at, according to Time.

The White House did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment, while the special counsel's office declined comment. It is the first time the White House has admitted the President was involved in any way with Daniels.

Carragher already phoned to apologize to the girls parents, while his professional fate will be determined at a meeting with Sky bosses.

Murphy believes Carragher - whose own duaghter is of a similar age - when he said he didn't know the girl was in the vehicle, but admits what he did was "despicable" nevertheless.

She added that the incident is particularly galling because, as a footballer, "aggro and a bit of banter is a part of your make-up".

Neville and Carragher were fierce rivals during their playing days at Manchester United and Liverpool, but the duo have formed a strong bond after emerging as outstanding TV pundits at Sky. I have a daughter of the same age and if someone had done that to her I don't know how I would respond. "I think it's right Sky Sports have taken the action".

"Hopefully the family can accept that apology from me". I know it has put my family and friends in a hard position.
