His current deal was set to expire in the summer, although United have already triggered to extend that by a further year, but it seems as though they are preparing to keep him for even longer than that, with a new "long term" deal set to be signed before the end of the campaign.

Sky and BT now shares the rights in a three-year deal worth 5.14 billion pounds ($7.2 billion).

The club said it expects year end revenue to be £575-585 million with earnings before tax and interest being £175-185 million.
