The White House unveiled its holiday decorations this week, issuing a video (below) of the Balsam fir trees sparkling with lights and ornaments adorning rooms throughout the White House. The tradition began in 1923 with President Calvin Coolidge and takes place in President's Park, just south of the White House.

"Her theme is "Time-Honored Traditions", which the White House said pays respect to 200 years of holiday traditions at the executive mansion".
