The Virginia Beach Police Department retweeted an Amber Alert notification on Wednesday morning in connection to the search for a missing North Carolina child.

The Onslow County Sheriff's Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation are attempting to determine whether the child depicted in the images is missing 3-year-old Mariah Woods. "I'd give anything." She is described as a white female standing about 2' 9" tall and weighing around 30 pounds. She has blondish-brown hair and blue eyes. Kristy Woods went to check on Mariah the following morning, but found her missing. Goes by Mariah. She has walking difficulties, so if anybody sees her. Throughout the course of the search, investigators have used everything from drones and helicopters to K9s in an attempt to find the girl.

Kristy Woods told local news outlets that she last saw her daughter around 11 p.m. on Sunday when she checked on her.

Family members said there was no sign of forced entry or anything wrong with Mariah's room.

The sheriff's office believes Mariah was abducted. Woods said. "Nobody heard anything?"
