Gal Gadot in talks for Nazi-hunting revenge thriller 'Ruin'

Available now on digital HD and September 19 on Blu-ray and DVD, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Ares, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Elena Anaya as Doctor Poison, and Lucy Davis as Etta Candy.

Now that both Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot are locked in for the sequel (with Jenkins now being the highest paid female director of all time) we look forward to the sequel.

It is unclear what role Gadot would play in the movie. A former Nazi captain hopes to make up for his war crimes by hunting down the other members of his SS Death Squad.

Ruin was written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo.

REPORT: Wonder Woman 2 to Film In Summer 2018

The film is being produced by Landis and David Goyer, and if a deal can be closed between Gal and the studio fairly soon, filming will begin in early 2018.

Kurzel is also said to be prepping a film about Australian outlaw Ned Kelly. Ruin sounds like it might be a ideal vehicle for Fassbender, but as yet there are no reports about the actor being attached to the film.

In addition to 2019's Wonder Woman 2, Gadot is also appearing in November's superhero ensemble Justice League, an undated Justice League Part 2, and 2020's Flashpoint, as well as underwater exploration thriller Deeper, which is being directed by Kornél Mundruczó of Cannes-winning White God fame and has Bradley Cooper as its co-star. While Wonder Woman is gearing up for next month's battle with the Justice League against the forces of Apokolips, Geoff Johns has already begun work on the script with Expendables writer Dave Callaham.
