As usual for Apple-related predictions, the word comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a near ideal track record for such predictions.

According to a recent report from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will also launch a new 2018 iPad Pro that will feature Face ID and a TrueDepth Camera.

Kuo, one of the foremost authorities on Apple predictions, suggests that the new cameras and Face ID will make for a more consistent user experience between users of the iPad Pro and iPhone X, the soon-to-be-released smartphone that will include Apple's first use of the technology.

The iPhone X isn't available for pre-order until closer to the end of this month.
