Tottenham Hotspur are planning to offload defender Kevin Wimmer in the summer and will demand £20 million for his services, according to The Sun. It is there that Dier prefers to play despite having featured at centre-back for periods last season and occasionally at full-back.

The 27-year-old would have had high hopes heading into the campaign after winning the Players' Player of the Year award in the 2015/16 campaign, but it proved to be a frustrating campaign under Jose Mourinho for the centre-back.
