Arkansas-based Tyson Foods Inc. says one of its employees was among those shot at a congressional baseball practice Wednesday.

His family released a statement following the shooting, and they are now traveling to Washington, D.C. The statement said that paramedics told them he was shot multiple times and is undergoing surgery. His family released a statement Thursday saying he suffered "massive trauma", needs breathing assistance and will need more surgery.

"He's not a big guy but he has such a big heart and a big personality", Walberg said.
