At first, Emely was just happy to be in Lorde's presence, saying she was "shook". The 20-year-old laughs, smiles and throws up peace signs with her fingers.

Then, in what might have been a dream planted in her head using Lorde's black magic, the cashier Ayesha saw that Lorde was offering to take her to Gov Ball. She responded to the musician writing, "No way- this is a joke right?".

Needless to say, Medina has accepted Lorde's kind invitation, and posted again to Twitter the morning after her unbelievable celebrity encounter, saying "Woke up trying to figure out if last night was a dream or real life".

The New Zealand artist is preparing for her headlining set at Governor's Ball in New York City, and stopped by a Liquiteria for some fuel on Tuesday.

Other performers across the weekend include Chance the Rapper, Phoenix, Tool, Childish Gambino, and Cage the Elephant.
