Lukaku, however, has taken to Twitter to comment on the speculation about his future, posting two Tweets, calling the media "annoying" and asking them to stay out of his business.

Former Manchester United coach Rene Muelensteen does not believe Romelu Lukaku is good enough to make the move to Old Trafford.

A report in The Sun has suggested that Everton have earmarked Crotone loanee Diego Falcinelli as a potential target should the Toffees end up selling Romelu Lukaku in the summer.

Lukaku is now the Premier League's top scorer for the season with 24 goals, three more than his nearest rival, Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Chelsea will likely finish the year as champions and will return to the Champions League, although things look a little trickier for United which could yet have an impact on their summer business.
