Mario Kart 8 DLC Coming to Super Mario Run

Ahead of the April 28 release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch, US retail store Target is giving its shopping carts a themed makeover. If you are someone who looks for a more serious challenge, you have the 200cc difficulty option. Every character class has a different driving experience and that makes the game all the more fun to play.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will allow players to compete in frantic multiplayer races anytime, anywhere, and with anyone they choose. Similar to Gamecube's excellent Mario Kart: Double Dash, you'll be able to hold onto 2 items at a time in this iteration of Kart.

When we first reviewed Mario Kart 8 when it launched on the Wii U in 2014, our reviewer gave the title an excellent critique. While the game has gotten a couple of updates here and there, for the most part it is still largely the same with nothing major being introduced, save for now. 8 courses, 4 of them recreations of past tracks, usher in the return of the series' beloved Battle Mode. We're not sure if the changes to Gold Mario are simply cosmetic but we're very sure that unlocking Gold Mario is going to be a daunting task for many players.

So has the popular racing series stood the test of time? GameStop will offer the Nintendo Switch system for $299.99, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the latest game to launch on the innovative Nintendo Switch platform, for $59.99.

Smart steering and auto-accelerate, however, "effectively take not only challenge, but also skill, out of the game".

As you approach the doors leading into the store, you'll see Lakitu on the glass urging you to step on it and come on in, with a checkered pattern on the floor meant to replicate a starting line. And for those concerned about beating players who are abusing this feature, use of Smart Steering cripples the ability to effectively use their Drift Boost and shortcuts that require leaving the beaten path are almost impossible to access.

"As soon as we slapped a Joy-Con in we noticed that in the triggers there was a large amount of travel required before you actually hit the button, and in my personal view, it was an unacceptable amount". Your other option is for each player to use one Joy-Con controller - horizontally, or for each to sync their Pro Controllers.
