The world number seven is eyeing to become the first man in Open era to win 10 tournament titles and has been dominant enroute to the title match in the ongoing tournament.

Considering that he nearly ousted Nadal in a tournament he's won nine times, and came back from a break behind in the third set against Novak Djokovic the day before, it's clear that the high-octane performance he gave during this week in Monte Carlo will hopefully allow him to erase the memory of that horrendous call and help him keep his momentum for the rest of the clay season.

He has now amassed 50 clay titles during his career, to take sole ownership of the record on the red dirt with one trophy more than Guillermo Vilas. His victory in Monte-Carlo also brought up 70 ATP titles for the 14-times Grand Slam victor.

Well, it is Rafel Nadal whom one can see in action in the final match that is to be played on Sunday and he will be having Albert Ramos-Vinolas as his opponent on the clay court. Nadal will enter his 58th career clay court finals with an astonishing record of 49-8.

Nadal needed just 76 minutes to get through the final against his countryman. He failed to convert three break point chances, but the writing was on the wall, and come the fourth game, Nadal broke to love for a 3-1 lead.
