NCAA returns events to North Carolina

Now, many towns across the state are optimistic after the NCAA said a majority of the board "reluctantly" agreed to allow consideration of championship bids in North Carolina. The NCAA pulled seven events from the state for the 2016-17 season, including men's basketball tournament games from Greensboro in March, in response to the law.

For first and second round men's basketball tournament play, the NCAA selected Columbia to host in 2019, Greensboro in 2020, Raleigh in 2021 and Greenville in 2022.
