A mother of a Marquette boy is speaking out about the tragic death of her 11-year-old son, who, she says, committed suicide suicide because of a cruel social media prank.
According to BuzzFeed, the girl being charged allegedly used her own social media account and those of her friends to make it seem as though she had died by suicide just before Tysen's death. The juvenile is being charged with malicious use of telecommunication services and using a computer to commit a crime. The prosecutor's office declined to comment Thursday. Police announced the charges Thursday. It is unclear if the juvenile was taken into custody.
