Steely Dan, Journey, The Doobie Brothers, and Earth, Wind & Fire will fill out the lineups for both weekends.

On July 15, the concerts will begin with performances by the Eagles, Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers.

The Eagles will play their first full concert since the death of co-founder Glenn Frey as they headline the latest festival of mega-stars from classic rock.

Older fans might recall an earlier Southern California rock festival featuring the Eagles and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Classic West will take place July 15 and 16 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, to be followed by Classic East on July 29 and 30 at New York City's Citi Field, Fleetwood Mac announced on its Facebook page.
